The Irish Dissociative

Let’s talk about it…

We have some questions… Part 1

The past few months a list of questions has been steadily growing that different parts want to ask TK (our therapist). They all surround “normal” experiences and I think they are quite interesting. The first time this notebook with the questions was brought to our therapy sessions our system completely shut down. It was too much for these to be asked, or even think of asking. There has only been one session where a part who was able to talk through some of them has managed to make any progress. They managed to get through 7 questions before our system was hijacked by another part. I thought it would be interesting for others to see what type of information different parts are trying to understand. They are in different writing but I’m too lazy right now to change the font. I’ll list the first page.

  1. When you imagine people in your head can you see them clearly?
  2. Would your head be mostly noisy or would it be quiet a lot of the time?
  3. Do you ever lose time like we told you about last time where it would be one moment and its 30 minutes later but for you its only been a few minutes at most?
  4. Have you ever been suicidal?
  5. Do you 100% trust someone? No doubt that you would have even a small piece of doubt you wouldn’t trust them with or tell them something?
  6. Has anyone ever hurt you?
  7. How do you learn that someone is safe person?
  8. Have you ever hit someone?
  9. How am I supposed to trust you if I don’t know anything about you?
  10. Why did you become a psychologist?
  11. Do you have a Dad?
  12. Is it normal to feel sick all the time?
  13. Why does everyone know everything I think but I don’t know what you think? Thats why I think you don’t exist outside my life and its all a simulation
