Personal Experience
Throughout my mental health journey I have, at times, relied heavily on support helplines. Without them I do not believe I would be still alive. These supports provide an invaluable service within our communities. I would urge you to give a helpline a chance if you are struggling and don’t have someone else to talk to. You might also need an alternative source or an impartial listener. You are in complete control and can simply hang up if you no longer wish to talk.
